Hi, I'm "Aye"

Sitting beside my mother, Dulfa Méndez, I would watch her pass me cotton pads soaked in cream so I could “treat” my dolls the same way she did with her clients. That’s how I fell in love with this craft.

From my father, Asdrubal Larez—a homeopathic doctor and physical therapist—I learned the importance of balance between body, mind, and spirit. The wisdom of both my parents, combined with years of hands-on experience, shaped me into the skincare expert I am today. For over 25 years, I’ve been honored to have a loyal community who trusts my hands, my care, and the secrets I’ve learned to help them achieve healthy, radiant skin.

I trained in Venezuela, where I studied cosmetology with the renowned Madame Odette, and later completed a medical aesthetic assistant course in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I worked at Instituto Dulfa SRL and Vitae Medicina Estética Integral with Dr. Carlos Lanz, before launching my own company, Corporación Ayeza C.A. In 2008, I opened my first spa, Mocedad Estética Integral, in Caracas.

In 2015, I made the life-changing decision to emigrate and start again in the United States. After working with my dear friend Hohander Fuentes and obtaining licenses as a Facial Specialist, Electrolysis and Laser Technician, and Phlebotomy Technician, I continued building my dream.

I was fortunate to be part of the Venezuelan Women Entrepreneurs program, led by IESA and Cisneros Group. The training, encouragement, and incredible women I met along the way gave me the strength to keep moving forward.

Today, that dream has transformed into Aye—a brand born from my hands, my heritage, and my healing approach to skincare.
